Support for the science ecosystem
Queensland is home to talented scientists, with leading-edge infrastructure to support research and discovery.
We are focused on supporting Queensland’s world leading scientists to generate knowledge, develop commercial opportunities, protect our natural environment, grow new industries and drive innovation across key sectors.
We support researchers, as well as industry and community groups through a vast array of funding opportunities:
- research infrastructure
- industry support
- community engagement
- international partnerships
- quantum technology.
Through the Queensland Science Collaboration Gateway, we connect researchers with proposals for ARC Centre of Excellence and Collaborative Research Centre rounds to the most appropriate government agencies and key decision-makers.
We take a ‘Team Queensland’ approach, supporting multidisciplinary collaboration and fostering strong industry partnerships to deliver leading research outcomes and accelerate the development and commercialisation of ideas.
